Isaac joins Civil Service Pensioners’ Alliance as an official member benefit
Isaac has partnered with the Civil Service Pensioners’ Alliance and is now a recognised CSPA member benefit — giving retired civil servants and their dependants a significant discount on Isaac Premium and the tools to model their civil service pension alongside workplace pensions, savings, investments, property, and State Pension in a single retirement plan.
The Civil Service Pensioners’ Alliance is the UK’s leading representative body for retired civil servants, with a membership spanning all government departments and agencies. It campaigns on pension policy, advises members on their entitlements, and advocates for fair treatment of public sector retirees. Being recognised as a member benefit reflects Isaac’s commitment to giving public sector workers the same level of retirement clarity that was previously the preserve of those who could afford a financial adviser.
What the partnership means for CSPA members
CSPA members who access Isaac through the member benefits portal receive a significant discount on Isaac Premium. This unlocks the full suite of planning tools: multiple retirement scenarios, couple’s planning, the year-by-year income breakdown, and tax optimisation — applied across the complete retirement picture, not just the pension in isolation.
Civil service pensions — whether alpha, classic, premium, nuvos, or partnership — are Defined Benefit schemes, and Isaac models them as such. Members enter their scheme, accrual rate, and pensionable earnings; Isaac calculates the projected annual income and integrates it with any DC workplace pensions, ISAs, savings, property, and State Pension. The tax optimisation engine then shows the most tax-efficient sequence in which to draw from each source, year by year, through to age 100.
