What if - Add Inheritance
Lee · 0 upvotes
The What-if function is excellent, but I can't see a way of adding an inheritance lump sum at a specified age. This would be useful
From the Isaac team: Thanks, Lee, a great suggestion, and it’ll be in Isaac soon! When released, in What if, open Inheritances and lump sums and enter an amount under A new inheritance or lump sum. Then choose the age you'd receive it under Received at. If you plan with a partner, you can also say which of you receives it. The result and "The difference" update straight away, and nothing changes in your plan unless you save it as a new plan. The money goes into your cash savings. If you'd like it to go into a pension or an ISA instead, add it to your plan under One-off incomes, where you can choose where it goes.
