Bug on What it would take - what would I need to save

Dave · 0 upvotes

Looks like the What if Scenario - for What I need to save. It doesn't take in to account your retirement date and the ceasing of contributions. The other two scenarios appear to take it in account - and mentions "from your employer until then" and "of your own pension contributions"

From the Isaac team: Thanks Dave, good spot. The calculation already stopped contributions at your retirement age, yours and your employer's, but the answer didn't say so, and "carries on as it is" made it sound as if your employer's never stopped. It now reads, for example: "…£775 a month of your own pension contributions until you retire. With your employer's £400 a month, £1,175 a month goes in altogether, and both stop when you retire." The heading over the figure shows the age too. This will be in the next update.
