Australian Superannuation

My wife and I worked in Australia for 16 years before returning to the UK. Our Super makes up a large part of our investments. The super is tax free in Australia, but there are rules around how much of the super is not taxed (by the UK) when bringing to the UK (pre-April 2017). It would be nice to see support for Australian super as I know of many others in a similar position. Offering users the option of how it is accessed as I have spoken to 2 financial advisors who have conflicting views. One option is to bring the total as a lump sum to the UK and just wear the tax at that point (and FOREX). The other is to leave in the Australian super in Australia and draw down (£x per annum). We favour the latter (so does Claude AI), but then you may lose out if the FOREX rate goes against you.
